Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park is Southern California’s oldest theme park, evolving from a family-run berry stand in the 1920s into a full amusement destination by the late 1940s. It welcomes millions of visitors annually and includes over 40 attractions, making it a popular destination for thrill seekers and families alike.

Signature thrill rides include GhostRider, a large wooden coaster; Silver Bullet, a high-speed inverted coaster; and HangTime, known for having one of the steepest vertical drops in California. Families will find gentle rides and character meet-and-greets in Camp Snoopy, along with interactive dark rides, a classic carousel, and family-friendly water attractions. Adjacent to the main park is Soak City, a 15-acre seasonal water park with slides, a lazy river, and splash zones for younger guests.

Visitors are encouraged to plan a full day and may consider combo tickets or line-skipping upgrades. The park supports a wide range of accessibility features, including wheelchair access, stroller rentals, locker services, and EV charging stations. A cashless payment system is in place, and parking is available in nearby lots. Knott’s Berry Farm also hosts special seasonal events throughout the year, such as Halloween haunt nights, holiday festivities, and the annual Boysenberry Festival.
