A special rotating exhibit, “The Ancient World: Unlocking the Middle East,” is included in general admission and highlights artifacts spanning millennia. Visitors can also explore the East Room replica within an event wing, as well as the gravesites of Richard and Pat Nixon.

The museum is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, except on major winter holidays, with research facilities available on weekdays until early afternoon. Admission policies include occasional free entry or reduced rates on specific holidays such as Veterans Day, Memorial Day, or presidential birthdays. Free on-site parking is provided, and the venue supports accessibility needs with ramps, elevators, and assistive listening services. Docent-led tours, self-guided audio options, and bus tours tracing Nixon’s early years in Whittier are available by reservation or for group visits.

Visitors are encouraged to allow at least two to three hours to fully experience both the museum galleries and the associated sites.
